Fantastic NDIS Plan Management!

Tru Care Support has been amazing for NDIS Plan Management! They made everything so easy and stress-free. I was really worried about managing my plan funds myself, but they handled all the paperwork and invoices so efficiently. It was such a relief to have their help. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing support with their NDIS plan, I'll be using them again for sure!

Solid value for services

As a first-time NDIS participant, I was looking for the best value for my funding. I decided to try Tru Care Support for their Community Participation service. I found their pricing transparent and in line with the NDIS Price Guide, which was important to me. While there aren't traditional discounts, the quality of service for the cost felt worth it. It was a good experience for what I paid, and I felt I got good value for my NDIS funds. I did my research, and they seemed like a solid choice.

Good support, slow initial setup

I used Tru Care Support for In-Home Care and overall I'm quite satisfied. The support worker I got was really excellent, very professional and made a real difference in my daily routine. The only thing that could have been smoother was the initial setup process; it took a bit longer than I expected to get everything finalized after the free initial consultation. Once it was running though, no complaints. Value seems fair for the quality of care received.

What's their cancellation policy like for appointments? Sometimes things just come up last minute.

M Marcus S. 1 month ago
You usually have to give a certain amount of notice, like 24 or 48 hours, otherwise, you might get charged. It's pretty standard across NDIS providers though.

Check your service agreement, it'll have the exact details. I think it's usually about 2 business days for cancellations without a fee. They're usually understanding if it's an emergency though.

Can I pick my own support worker if I go with Tru Care Support, or do they just assign someone?

S Sam N. 2 months ago
Yep, you totally can. I asked for someone with experience in a specific area and they gave me a couple of options to choose from. It was good to have that say.

I think they try to match you up based on your needs and preferences. You can definitely chat with them about who you'd prefer or if you're looking for someone with a particular skill set.

Are they a legitimate NDIS provider? Like, officially registered and everything?

N Nina Beaumont 2 months ago
Yeah, they're fully registered. You can usually check that on the NDIS website too if you want to double-check any provider.

E Emma 2 months ago
They wouldn't be able to bill NDIS if they weren't registered, so you're good there. It's a proper service.

Is Tru Care Support good for getting help with managing my NDIS plan, or should I just stick with a dedicated plan manager?

G Gwen 2 months ago
They do plan management themselves! So you can actually get everything through them if you want. It might be easier than having multiple providers.

J Jared 2 months ago
My friend uses them for plan management and she says it's pretty straightforward. Saves you from having to deal with the NDIS portal directly as much.

how do their community participation programs compare to, say, Mable or Hireup? looking for something that's not just a support worker taking me out, but actual group activities.

P Phil P. 2 months ago
I've heard Mable and Hireup are more about connecting you with individual workers, but Tru Care Support definitely has structured group activities. My sister went to a few of their art workshops and really enjoyed them.

They do group stuff for sure. I think it's worth checking their current calendar. Sometimes it's bowling, sometimes it's coffee groups. Depends on what they've got going on that month.

I'm in regional VIC, do they provide services outside of the major cities?

A Andre Ito 2 months ago
They're an Australian provider, so it's worth asking directly. Sometimes they have specific areas they cover or can suggest a partner if they don't reach you.

P Paula Reyes 2 months ago
I'd call them up and ask. They might have a team or partners in regional areas, but it's not a given for every provider. Their website probably has a 'check service area' thing or you can just use the contact form.

Do these guys offer any discounts for new NDIS participants? Or is it all just the standard NDIS rates?

J James Vargas 2 months ago
Nah, it's all NDIS rates. They don't do promos or anything like that because it's a regulated service.
5
B Beth A. 2 months ago
That's right, they just follow the NDIS Price Guide. No special deals or coupon codes for this type of service. It's across the board for most providers, afaik.

do they help with aged care support too, or just NDIS stuff for younger folks?

N Nick G. 2 months ago
They actually do both! I know someone who gets their aged care support through them, alongside their NDIS services. They cover quite a range.

A Amber K. 2 months ago
Yep, they've got programs for aged care too. Not just NDIS. So if you need help for an older family member, they might be able to assist.
